•I almost quit before everything changed•
As you guys know I’ve been healing from a broken foot, so when I got invited to a gala night I almost said no!

I didn’t have any shoes! My mind came up with so many excuses on why I didn’t belong.

I’m glad I didn’t listen to the self doubt.
After building the confidence I was able to make a choice for myself and showed up and sat at tables I thought I didn't fit in with.

Turns out I belong, I still made it work out and I want to know how you're showing up for yourself when your inner voice says no?

Self-sabotage rarely looks dramatic.
It looks like almost starting.
It looks like planning instead of moving.
It looks like waiting to feel ready.

Overthinking keeps you busy so you don’t have to risk being seen.
Perfection keeps you stuck so you don’t have to finish.
Delay feels neutral—but it’s still a choice.

Progress doesn’t come from motivation.
It comes from action taken before you feel ready.

I used to label it as laziness.
Truth is, it was fear running the show.

Fear of being seen.
Fear of failing.
Fear of succeeding and having no excuse left.

Nothing was wrong with me.
I was just protecting myself from growth I didn’t yet feel ready for.

Awareness is the first shift.
Once you see it, you can’t unsee it.
