Hello, my friends, we have very bad news.. Today our beautiful baby goat Lucky left us forever.. I can not describe my feelings, I’m just crying all day, this is VERY sad.. I can not imagine what her mother Gotya feels now, I can’t even look at her, because she is crying all day also, screaming and searching for her baby everywhere.. my heart is breaking into peaces.. Lucky left us exactly at 14 days old. I don’t know the reason, as I read it’s happening very often, I put you screens of all the reasons why, if you are a beginner like us, probably you will be careful at age 10 days old of your newborn goat..
For sure she wasn’t cold, because last weeks it was very warm here where we live, even when we found her she was very hot. We are thinking it could be because her mother accidentally slept on her baby and she couldn’t breathe, I don’t know.. Also she was weak from the very beginning, maybe Gotya didn’t have enough vitamins, or because it was her first pregnancy, or because the father is a brother of Gotya.. it can be a millions reasons, but now I want to change everything, I want to take care of my animals much better and very careful, I understood that LOVE IS NOT ENOUGH, especially when those animals have just you, and only you can help them.
This winter took a lot of babies on our farm, it was very hard, but it will be better, I will do better, I will learn and try to not let this happen anymore. Even if sometimes it’s just happens. I talked to my grandma, she was crying with us, she lived in the village for almost half of her life, she told me she lost her baby-cow at 3 months old suddenly and she didn’t know the reason, and I’m sure she knew much more than me and took care of animals much better, but it happened anyway. I hope Gotya and us will feel better and our Lucky 🍀 will be in a better place🙏🏻
For now I don’t have the resource to share happy vlogs, I just want to think what can I do better for my farm, so I think for some time it will be only quiet videos, same as I feel now inside. Thank you for reading and see you in a better day🍀❄️
