Behind the scenes I've been hard at work on my Knights of Brickalot series! The series will release later this year (taking longer than I expected) and will feature nearly 100 shorts videos shown daily on the channel - compiled into weekly longer episodes. A saga of the battle against Toothsmoke the Dragon, The Serpent Raiders (my own custom faction - see the last picture below!), the Forestmen, and the traitor within the court... I hope it will be worth the wait everyone!
Merry Christmas everyone! Thank you so much for all your support during what has been a difficult year. Hoping for a better 2026! I posted a teaser of my upcoming LEGO castle series that I hope to release in spring. All the best to everyone!
Hi everyone. Thanks for bearing with me this year while things have been quiet. My dad passed away in June so I haven't been in the mood to return to huge battle animations just yet. Something I am working on at my own pace though is a series of Castle Sketches in the form of shorts that I hope to release later this year! Photos below show the main cast of knights (Guess who the obviously not traitor is!) and Toothsmoke the Dragon with the slightlt hopeless wizard Gerald. I hope you like it when they get released!
It's late in the evening but as its still just about the anniversary of the Battle of Waterloo, why not check out my animation about the charge of the Scots Greys!
Hi everyone. Apologies there haven't been any war videos recently. Unfortunately my dad is very poorly at the moment so animation has had to take a back seat, although I do have a Battle of Britain Blender animation and Normandy stop-motion in the works! I filmed a short video of F1 just for fun, as it was quick and simple to do (uploaded in a few formats as an experiment). I'll get back to the war animations when I can, but thanks for your patience and for following this channel - you're all amazing! Ed
Quite incredibly today, on the day Liverpool lifted the Premier League trophy, it is 20 years since the Miracle of Istanbul... which means it's 10 years since I made this video! #ynwa#liverpoolfc
80th anniversary VE Day celebrations are in full swing in the UK. I posted a short of a Winston Churchill LEGO compatible minifigure recently - check it out here: youtube.com/shorts/Wjglc5prKz...
Whilst the war in Europe came to an end, it's worth remembering that the war in the Far East continued, which I have my own personal connection to through both my grandfathers.
Anniversaries like these are a poignant moment to remember that while we build MOCs and make animations about these events, we should never forget that there were real people living these events.
More Napoleonic Wars minifigures have appeared on Aliexpress. I'll try and post a video version of this soon, but in the meantime you can read about them on my blog at www.napoleonic-bricks.com/2025/04/new-2025-cavalry…
