Hari Om!

This channel reflects my work at the intersection of Jyotisha, psychology, and strategic thinking — focused on patterns, timing, choice, and responsibility.

Over the years, I’ve worked across disciplines and geographies, coached extensively, written and researched deeply, and gradually moved away from motivational or surface-level guidance toward applied clarity and structural work.

What you’ll find here is not prediction or reassurance, but frameworks — ways of seeing, thinking, and acting more consciously within the constraints and possibilities of life.

This channel is for those who are willing to think, reflect, and take responsibility for their decisions.

Hari Om!

I was asked something very interesting today by a client I am mentoring. The question was: "Is there any vedic logic to the assignment of days with their respective deities?"

This is a great question and I actually wrote about this at length in an article in April 2026 issue of my magazine Delhi Ledger.

I am sharing the excerpt below. You are encouraged to check out the full article in the magazine. Page number 84.

Kaal Nirnaya (Electional Astrology): The Architecture Of Time

Time, in modern understanding, is linear, measurable, and neutral. It is segmented into hours, days, quarters, and financial years. Basically, time represents containers within which human activity is organized. But within Vedic thought, time is neither neutral nor uniform. It is qualitative. It carries texture, bias, and archetypal weight.

Kaal Nirṇaya—the determination of time—is therefore not merely about selecting a moment. It is about understanding the nature of that moment.

Historically embedded within the broader framework of Vedic philosophy, Kaal Nirṇaya has, for practical purposes over the last few millennia, come to denote the science of aligning action with time. Its foundational premise is deceptively simple: that events unfolding in space-time are not random, but patterned, and that these patterns can be understood through archetypes.

The Vedic seers articulated these patterns through planetary associations, mapping them onto the seven-day cycle that governs human life. Each day is not just a unit of time, but a dominant energetic field.

Sunday, governed by the Sun, embodies authority, identity, and the assertion of self. Monday, aligned with the Moon, turns inward: towards mind, emotion, and nourishment. Tuesday carries the imprint of Mars: action, aggression, competition. Wednesday, under Mercury, becomes the domain of communication, trade, and intellectual movement. Thursday, governed by Jupiter, expands into knowledge, teaching, and wisdom. Friday, associated with Venus, moves into relationships, aesthetics, and wealth. Saturday, under Saturn, contracts into discipline, endurance, and structure.

The eighth element, less linear and more disruptive, is Rahu Kaal, a daily interval of unpredictability, not fixed to a single archetype but cutting across them.
This system, at first glance, appears symbolic, perhaps even arbitrary to the modern mind. Yet its persistence across centuries suggests something deeper: not a rigid law, but a pattern recognized through observation and reinforced through collective alignment. Human behaviour, after all, is not purely rational. It is patterned. Meaning, when assigned consistently over time, becomes reality. The night, for instance, remains associated with rest and withdrawal—not merely because of biological rhythms, but because for the majority of human history, darkness implied vulnerability. Even today, despite artificial lighting and technological advancement, the psychological imprint remains intact.
In the same way, days acquire a distinct character.

The principle often invoked within Jyotish—as above, so below—is not mystical assertion but observational analogy. The Earth appears blue because it reflects the sky. Change the sky, and the Earth’s perceived colour would change with it. Archetypes operate similarly. They are not imposed upon reality; they emerge from the interplay between perception and pattern.

Within this framework, Kaal Nirṇaya becomes less about belief and more about alignment.

It explains, for instance, why certain business practices evolved the way they did. In many parts of India, wholesale markets traditionally close on Wednesdays. This is not incidental. Wednesday, governed by Mercury, is the archetype of commerce. It’s not the executive part of its energy but ‘evaluation’. It is the day best suited for reviewing accounts, recalibrating inventory, and structuring transactions rather than engaging in outward sales.

Similarly, the widespread closure of certain trades—meat shops, barbers, electrical services—on Tuesdays reflects an intuitive alignment with Martian energy. Tuesday intensifies.......

Hari Om!✨

You probably know that for the past few months, I’ve been building something quietly.

Not just a book… but a publishing house.

Kaushal Media and Publications.

A space for ideas, frameworks, and deeper, conscious, humanitarian work.

This is Issue Zero — of the inaugural magazine: “Delhi Ledger”

The first of many to come.

Many of you have been waiting for Decoding Rahu.

That’s coming.

But this… this is where it begins.

From here on, this becomes a monthly journey. A way to explore & communicate in a reliable, regular structured manner —

deep dives across business, vaastu, saadhna, personal growth, reviews, world affairs, and the larger questions of how we live and build.

Over time, this will also expand across multiple languages, both Indian and international.

A collection of pieces designed so that there’s something in it for everyone.

The inaugural issues will be free.

Hari Om!✨ Most people think they understand Rahu and Ketu because they know the standard keywords.

Obsession.
Detachment.
Past life karma.
Future life direction.

But those are just the surface-level descriptions.

In actual Jyotish practice, the nodes operate through far more complex layers:

• Their nakshatra placement completely alters how their karma manifests.
• They shape deep subconscious behaviour patterns and compulsions.
• They reveal the archetypal conflict between shadow desire and evolutionary growth.
• Two charts with the same Rahu sign can produce radically different life trajectories depending on the nodal axis dynamics.

This is where Rahu–Ketu stop being astrology “keywords” and start becoming a serious diagnostic tool for understanding human behaviour and destiny patterns.

That’s exactly what I’ll be unpacking in my upcoming Rahu–Ketu Deep Dive Webinar.

In this session we’ll explore:

• Rahu–Ketu through nakshatra-level interpretation
• The archetypal psychology of the nodal axis
• How Rahu creates obsession and how Ketu creates blind spots
• Practical frameworks for reading the nodes in real charts

If you’re serious about understanding Rahu–Ketu beyond the usual textbook clichés, this session will give you a much deeper framework.

Which of these Rahu–Ketu topics have you actually studied or applied?

Hari Om!✨In Jyotish, one of the most powerful forces shaping a person’s life is the Rahu–Ketu axis.

These two points are often described in mystical terms, but at a deeper level they represent something very practical:

desire and direction.

Rahu shows where the soul is pushing forward in this lifetime.
Ketu shows where we carry past mastery but also detachment.

Understanding this axis can change the way you look at ambition, confusion, timing, and life decisions.

I’ll be exploring this in depth in my upcoming live lecture on Rahu–Ketu — the axis of karma.

Details and registration are available through the link: coachkaushal.com/rahu-ketu-understanding-the-axis-…

I’m curious:

Have you ever studied Rahu–Ketu in depth?
