Hey All!
My channel is a dichotomous mix of things. I do technical reviews and tips on general electronics, audio gear, and portable generators.
When it comes to gear, I often see videos review the functions and provide their opinion of its application. I focus more on the build hardware, and how to service it when it breaks.
I am not certified in any repairs. My content should be viewed as a guide and entertainment. Replicating any project viewed therein will be at your own risk.

Hey everyone! Been awhile. I'll be posting more content soon. Had to take a break for a while. Been wanting to do more YouTube Lives, try to grow the bass guitar community.
On a separate note, I'm fielding a lot of comments for my European viewers/friends about converting my portable AC from a single exhaust vent to a dual vent intake/exhaust. I know you guys and gals are experiencing a real nasty heatwave in excess of 40⁰C 😮😵💫
Who would have though a little video I made would be exploding 3 years later, go figure.
Would a quick YouTube live help to answer some questions on it? I realize there may be language barriers but YouTube has a translate function right? 🙂

While I have moved my small engine posts over to my S&G channel with my wife, I'm always more active on this channel. James is an amazing guy who provides a ton of support for generator repairs. I'm regularly repairing circuit boards and regulators for these machines to help out his channel. Whether it's music gear or small engine repair there's always some level of electronics component repair involved with both!

Thank you Scott for all the help that you provide on the latest gear! You've already made me spend money on a new wireless system and how to fix the shortcomings with its rack mounting!

Big Announcement coming up!
I now own one of Michael Anthony's touring tube bass heads from the ChickenFoot years! Thanks Mike!
I will also be repairing another one from his collection for another fan with the help of one of the original Peavey engineers who custom built/designed it! @johnfields8745
More to come!

Working through some new gear setup for recording and live streaming!
If you see a bunch of lives pop up it's me messing with the settings. SORRY! Mostly trying to sync the audio to the video. Audio needs to be delayed but unsure of the millisecond setting with this setup. Once I do I'll give this rig a proper test run!

Hey everyone! Posted a new small engine video on my wife and I's s business channel. I've been dealing with some search algorithm issues on this channel when it comes to audience interaction. Since the beginning of opening up my channel back in 2008 it's been a dichotomy of things. However as I've increased my subscriber list and gotten more exposure I've noticed that it has been making more sense to split off certain subject matter to their own specific page, and small engine is one of them. Unfortunately variety channels simply don't perform well when it comes to the search algorithm.
Unfortunately the algorithm is very unforgiving and when you have so much variety on a single channel it doesn't know what audience to send your channel to for suggestion in order to increase its exposure. This is why you've been seeing more of the bass guitar content and less of the small engine.
YouTube pays me a little bit of money per month for pocket change on the advertising but it's nothing substantial to brag about. I have a day job in the logistics industry that pays medical benefits, 401k, etc so I am certainly not in Youtube for the money. That being said I still want the channels to gain exposure as much as possible.
Please consider subscribing to our small engine repair channel for more future projects moving forward.
Cheers!

Not often I get this generator board in for repair. The SMD components need special tools to work on it, namely a 4k digital microscope! Stay tuned for the repair video!

Happy New Year to Everyone!
Adios to 2024. For my wife and I in general it has not been a good year. We lost our pup, her soul dog Mystic to cancer back in February dealing with the tremendous emotional pain, and have dealt with various health issues within the family. There is some healing going on thankfully. Tala, our new fur baby who is the niece of Angel the black/red GSD has really been a bright spot in our lives. Even more so is Dallas our BC mix, without him, the months following Mystics death were some of the toughest we've ever experienced. IDK how we could have gotten through it without him.
Here's to hoping 2025 will be less stressful to everyone! I wanted to do an end of the year video but simply never got around to it. More videos in the works! Thank you all for watching and supporting the channel!
