6 years ago, I posted this on Reddit, and today I found this picture in my gallery, so here we are. At the time of the post, I had just quit my job and went full-time to become a creator (risky move, but I didn't have a family to provide for).

My channel had about 900 subscribers back then. Today, it’s about 4.72M.

The reason I'm saying all this is because if you don't like where you're at, and you want to achieve something but you haven't even started yet, well, I was you.

Whatever you're trying to do, stick to it. You can actually make it.

Hoping to hit 3x the previous energy (~1000J).

Also I’m using a steel safe filled with cloths as a catch-box. Let me know If you have a better idea 🙏

Fixing the issues on the Slingshot cannon before the test. Thanks so much for all the comments and tips you gave me under the video guys, it was amazing to see so many of you willing to help out.

In order to shoot manually, I’m going with a longer trigger (better mechanical advantage) and bigger/better roller bearings that should hold up and function under pressure.

Then to increase the power, I’m making much bigger clamps to shoot up to 50mm steel balls (2”). Let me know what targets you’d like to see me blow up
