Advisory from xFM 99.9 Tacloban: XFM 99.9 Tacloban is under maintenance as a result it plays an automated music due to the earlier power interruption and staff control. However XFM Tacloban is still available to served it's latest news on digital platforms.
The 200mm ferrite (twin coil) had installed already on Hanrongda HRD-104 (black)! Has 45 turns on the left and 42 turns on the right or vice versa, the reception will be improved against the single coil on the HRD-104 (grey). External install mod by Ciaerwin Tanpiengco
Revised shielding on the HanRongDa HRD-104: Now it's on the DSP chip instead of covering both the MCU and the DSP chip (AKC6955) HOWEVER after I went to empty lot again, the 576 kHz still plagued with noise. Not good! But still it worth a try.
The HanRongDa HRD-104 is arrived in gray! Cost P419 from Shopee. The ultimate replacement for Retekess V115 that I left in Cebu and retired to used it. But there's a tradeoff, a smallest speaker could received a faint sound. UPDATED: First is to have a modifcation like two AA batteries using battery holder to improve runtime since they used AAA battery instead of AA battery which hinders the battery runtime performance. Soon EMI reduction and 200mm ferrite modification. Nicknamed as Cute but Powerful and Tecsun PL-36X's cheapo beast UPDATED: Another HRD-104 in black is also arrived! Cost P430 due to being discounted from Lazada. I am going to compared the two signals ala Gary de Bock.
Nokia 222 Cost P1490 Features FM with RDS and Recorder (similar to previously tested Nokia 225) 2G/3G Supports JAR files External MicroSD Card FM Radio Performance: It is very sensitive, I got Cebu FM Radio stations like XFM Cebu, Memories FM Cebu, Brigada News FM Cebu and so much more. Unlike other Nokia phones, this has FM Radio with RDS and FM recorder (same as Nokia 225 tested previously). However, it overloads the reception with lots of FM image frequencies on FM Band due to its oversensitivity, and if your too close of multiple FM transmitter. It is a best performer if your far away from multiple transmitters.
After some attempts to test 200mm ferrite on Retekess V115P, I would like to make some disappointing notice.
It appears that the Retekess V115P suffered from quirks.
This includes the speaker became deaf due to issues with the chip trying to tuned on frequency. When I try to solder the ferrite once more, the frequency starts to offset. 819 kHz became 792 khz. This makes me look unfair and disappointing. After trying to solder again it offset frequency. The 819 khz became 936 khz. No good at all. 😓
The FM band became 100% empty as a result none of the stations we're ever received. 😩
Shortwave also 100% empty.
After all, the "SUPERCHARGED YOUR RADIO" project on Retekess V115P is already been considered as voided and untested.
But that's OK! I will be using as a recording using AUX jack instead after my Retekess V115 is still in Cebu. ✌️ Thank you for this gift to be received.

UPDATED: February 15 - Around Friday February 13, I try to restore factory settings however the AM station did not return to it's normal state. Resetting does not work well. The next day, I remove the litz wire connection and the ferrite holder. Afterwards, I decided to use as an recording tool for the job. I managed to test on TECSUN PL-310ET to record and no more interference on AM/SW/FM band like 666 khz. Right now, I will upload 594 khz marathon soon.
