This channel provides educational videos explaining upper gastrointestinal (Upper GI) surgery and digestive conditions, including oesophagectomy, gastrectomy, gallbladder surgery, anti-reflux surgery and hernia repair.

Our aim is to help patients, families and healthcare professionals better understand complex surgical procedures. Using surgical animations, step-by-step explanations and patient-focused guidance, the videos explain how modern laparoscopic (keyhole) and robotic surgical techniques are used to treat a range of gastrointestinal conditions.

These videos support patient understanding before and after surgery and explain how common gastrointestinal operations are performed in modern surgical practice.
