I’d really appreciate your honest feedback on something I’ve been trying in the Saturday story videos. I’ve recently started adding on screen text so you can read along while I’m telling the stories, especially in the parts where I’m not on camera.
I’ve noticed a lot of other story channels do this as well, and it clearly works for them or they wouldn’t keep using it, but most of those channels don’t actually appear on screen, they just read the stories or even use AI voices. My videos are a bit different, so I’m not sure if it works the same way here. Some of you have said you like the text, others have said it’s distracting, so I thought the best thing to do was ask everyone properly. Have a look at the options below and let me know what you think. I’ll leave this up for a week or two and then share the results in a future video so we can go with what the majority prefers.

My immigration Video: There was some confusion about the video I uploaded yesterday regarding immigration’s rules and as this news was hot off the press I wanted to get it straight out to everybody so it was a rushed video, and although I pinned a comment (on the youtube post) explaining that anyone arriving from a country that already receives a 60 day stamp on arrival is not affected by these changes a few people still criticised me for misinformation, yet none of them provided any accurate information themselves, so for those who misunderstood what I was trying to get across here are the new rules in black and white which are correct. Thailand Immigration have tightened enforcement on repeat use of visa exemption entries meaning if you keep coming in on back to back tourist stamps without a proper visa you can now be refused entry as they are cracking down on people abusing the system. The 60 day stamp for the 93 eligible countries remains the same and can still be extended but Immigration are enforcing all regulations much more strictly now including tougher checks on extensions and overstays.

I’ve been watching what’s going on near the Cambodia and Thailand border and honestly it’s sad to see. This part of the world means a lot to me and I know how good and decent most people are on both sides. The truth is most ordinary people just want to live their lives in peace, look after their families and not get caught up in this kind of trouble. Fighting never really solves anything, it just causes pain for the ones who had nothing to do with starting it. I really hope things calm down and the people in charge find a way to sort it out without more violence. At the end of the day nobody wins in war, it’s always the everyday people who pay the price.

Hello everyone,
I just wanted to give you a quick update. I haven't been able to record any new videos over the past week due to a serious throat infection, which has affected my ability to speak clearly. It's been a bit frustrating, but fortunately I had the foresight to pre-record the story videos two weeks in advance, so they will still be released on schedule. I’ll resume filming as soon as my voice fully recovers. Thank you for your understanding and continued support.
