Everyone keeps saying this year will be fast, intense, chaotic… #thenew2016 💕
And honestly? I’m feeling it in real time.

Back in September, right before I turned 32 (October 22 🎂) I had a massive epiphany.

No more excuses.
No more being a “loser”,
It’s time to be a Closer. (thank you Casey Neistat)

After spending the last 3 years prioritizing my health, my finances, and my career here in Canada, I’m finally in a place where I feel secure enough to go all in on my next 10-year dream:
Becoming the YouTuber I always said I wanted to be 💭

I have a lot of other dreams too, but most of them can’t happen unless this channel succeeds 😅 So this is the foundation!

I started this channel in 2016, and that same year I fulfilled my first 10-year dream: visiting Japan for the first time 🇯🇵

How cinematic would it be to fulfill the second 10-year dream exactly 10 years later?

The story kind of writes itself 😏❤️‍🔥

Right now, I’m not so focused on views, but just to edit and post everything I’ve filmed over the past decade, and finally tell my stories properly!

I want to feel proud of every upload! And for the first time, I genuinely feel confident in my editing and storytelling 🥰

💖 Tokyo Mew Mew New FINAL EPISODE Update + Future Channel Plans! 💖

For this last episode, I’m not even going to bother trying to outsmart the copyright system, especially after how much of a challenge S.2 Epi.11 was to upload. This one will have far fewer jump cuts and much less of the episode cut down.

I’ll be posting a preview that can pass copyright, with a link in the description to both my full reaction and the complete unedited episode, same as I did for Episode 11 last week.

If you watch the preview, I’d love for you to come back and share your final thoughts on how the anime wrapped up!

Unfortunately, it won’t be up by tomorrow morning, but it should be live by Friday at the latest.

I still plan to do a big OG vs. Reboot review, but that’ll be sometime next year. My New Year’s resolution for 2025 was to finally finish the half-completed projects that have been piling up for the last five years…

Yep. I’m that human. 🤦

Since I haven’t filmed anything for that review yet, just jotted down some starter notes, I’ve decided to set it aside until my other pre-filmed videos are uploaded.

So stay tuned! Honestly, I’m more excited for what’s coming next than even these reaction videos… especially since Halloween is right around the corner. 😄

It’s been 84 years… 😅

While editing this episode, I did the exact same type of edits I’ve done for all my previous reactions—but for some reason, no matter how much I tweaked the audio and visuals, YouTube kept blocking the video in ALL countries. Not just a regular copyright claim like I’ve had in the past—this was a full-on block.

The weirdest part? My most popular Kisshu reactions are still safe. Honestly, I have no idea why! My best guess is that because this is the series finale (Part 1), it’s copyrighted to the extreme.

But I worked hard on this and wanted to finish what I started! So for this video, I’ve cut the episode down to just the part where Kisshu first appears to save Ichigo. I’ll link the full unedited reaction AND the original episode in the description below, just like I’ve done for the other episodes.

I’ll be doing the same thing for Season 2, Episode 12—because if this one was blocked, the finale definitely will be too. 😅

Aside from the copyright drama, this episode DESTROYED me. Editing this was hard because I cried so much...lowkey embarrassed, but you all seem to love my genuine reactions, so here it is! 😂 Please don’t judge me too hard!

TMMN epi.11 is so close to being donnnnne

Since its been 2 years since filming this, I started to notice I couldn’t help but give similar reactions while editing it lol

So we’re doing a bit of an inception with this episode! 😂

I truly lost my cool during this one 😭

Episode 11 and 12 will be released back to back before the end of the month!

As much as I loved this remake/filming these, I’m excited to wrap this series up and continue releasing my bigger projects that have been sitting dormant for years 😅

The last 2 episodes of Tokyo Mew Mew New are scheduled for the next 2 Tuesdays!

Then we’ll return to weekly episodes of my Moving to Japan series on Thursdays, 9am MDT!

My Tokyo Mew Mew New vs OG show video is going to be a behemoth of a project. I love this series and I want to do it justice. So I’ll be working on it while other pre-filmed videos go up weekly on Thursdays.

To the few who still know this channel exists 😋

Hello! Things have finally started to chill out and videos will be starting soon 💖

I feel like I’m finally moving past my burn out and almost done wrapping up my last big video on my other channel. Which means regular uploads here should start very soon! Aiming for 2nd week of July, with Tokyo Mew Mew New episode 10!

Work has also been decided, I was able to negotiate a new contract to give me more time to get healthy (back to the gym), pursue my YouTube dream, and still bring my best results for my main job. I feel proud of myself again! ✌🏻🕊️

So I’ll announce here first, my 2nd channel, Meraki Memories, will be going on indefinite hiatus.

I made this decision because I realized that I was having more fun and fulfillment editing videos for this channel, and the potential for growth is here 💞

And trying to be consistent on 2 channels when you don’t have an editor and a full time job is impossible ☠️

But there’s the last video to upload there to feel like I’m properly wrapping it up, so I’ve been working on that for 2 weeks now.

And I also finished this painting! This tiger literally took me over 3 months, if you include the time I spent drawing it first, when I started it last year. I’m very proud of this too 🥰

Anyways, that’s all I have to report on now. I can’t wait to come back!

it’s been so long since doing my makeup…this feeling foreign 😅

Unfortunately I can’t go into too much detail about how the past 3 months have gone but I can at least share what was completed!

Trust I wasn’t just doing nothing lmao I’ve been fighting burnout for MONTHS but still trucking along ☠️

☁️ finished clearing digital clutter
☁️ decluttered and designed my basement (with mom, 2 month project 😅)
☁️ decluttered bedroom, bathroom, office
☁️ 4 art pieces
☁️ half completed 1 large painting

I did more work-related stuff (normal job) but I can’t talk about that…yet 🙃

Anyways we just have a few more weeks until I start making my way back to regular uploads here but I’ll be super honest I think I need a 2 week break before I swing back in I’m so sad and weirdly overtired, I actually think I’m burned out and need a vacation 🥲

🎶 I’ve never felt so good before
This empty place inside of me is filling up
I simply cannot get enough 🎶

An oldie but a goodie from 2017—the first year of The Night Before Halloween project and my debut as Jack Skellington in a cosplay made by my talented friend, Sara 🖤 .

I’ve always loved #TheNightmareBeforeChristmas , but during the start of my quarter-life crisis that year, Jack’s journey resonated with me completely. Struggling with a tough job and feeling directionless, his search for something new felt painfully familiar.

Lately, I’ve been feeling creatively stuck, which has made me nostalgic for the days when I poured so much passion into cosplay and filming. I miss that effort, that spark.

Change is coming, though—I promise. I can’t share everything just yet, but I’m hoping by the end of February, I can speak freely about what’s next. Just know, I’m working hard to get my creativity, health, and drive back on track! And obviously to come back to YouTube and Instagram!

2025 is going to be the year I take risks, chase fulfillment, and make things happen. I can’t wait to open up, be on camera again, and finally share it all with you 🖤

Another birthday, another #timburton inspired shoot 😁
This time I was inspired by a lot of @winonaryderofficial and @jennaortega ‘s looks for the @beetlejuicemovie premiere. Very Tim Burton meets editorial 🖤

It felt really good getting back into the swing of things with shoots, that being said I know I still need more practice lol being “myself” is harder than being in a cosplay 😅

That’s actually one of my resolutions for this birthday, I want to hyper focus on playing with my fashion again and do at least one shoot a month but also get back into taking my own photos.

And one video a week on YouTube! As soon as Halloween is over. This big one I’ve been working on takes longer than a week lol

Since I’ve failed that for a bit, I’ve decided my new tactic is to stop uploading to my 2nd channel and solely focus on The Lea Factor.

I could rant about that but we’d be here all day lol
