Welcome to Restoring Meditation — the biblical discipline of meditation, taught plainly for ordinary Christians.

I'm Warren Vogel. Meditation is commanded, blessed, and modeled throughout Scripture, yet most Christians have never been taught it. The word has been colonized by Eastern religion, mindfulness, and wellness culture, and the church has lost its inheritance.

That's what I'm restoring — the meaning of the word, and the discipline itself. In my own walk, meditation was the instrument God used to draw me to Christ. Here I teach what I've learned, biblically rooted and built day by day.
