UPDATE: The Australian travel company behind mass last-minute cancellations affecting hundreds of travellers last week has collapsed, with liquidators now appointed.
Thousands of AVG Travels customers are expected to be impacted as all operations have been suspended, and refunds are unlikely.
10 News+ has contacted AVG to ask whether it will honour previously promised refunds and why it continued accepting new bookings up until its collapse.

A 48-year-old man and a 35-year-old man were arrested at separate locations this morning and are now being interviewed by detectives from Taskforce Summit.
Police say the investigation remains ongoing and further details cannot be released at this stage.

The former treasurer, who introduced the original CGT model in 1985, dismissed claims the reforms would hurt entrepreneurship or small business.

A second group of so-called "ISIS brides" and their children are expected to arrive in Sydney and Melbourne from Syria today.
Seven women and 12 children left the Al-Roj detention camp last week, with some of the women potentially facing arrest on arrival.
Three women from an earlier cohort were charged after returning to Australia this month, including terror and slavery-related offences.
The federal government says it has not assisted the group’s return and warns anyone who committed crimes will “face the full force of the law”.
