When you can’t find what you’re looking for, it may just be best to create your own! I wanted us to do a study on ancient Africa that would serve as a good foundation for studying modern history, have past and present geography tied in (what present day countries were the kingdoms located in), and have reflection of past cultural practices so we could compare it to ours present day.
I didn’t mention it, but so far our activities list will include:
-making an African drum
-making meals based on what we know about what they ate back then (a great excuse to indulge in some delicious Ethiopian food)
-writing a journal entry from the point of view of a ruler
-writing a journal entry from the point of view of someone from society

Tomorrow’s video is the start of me adding a little more homemaking themed content to my channel. I’ve been wanting to share more and more about my journey of becoming a better homemaker over the years.
