Hello everyone! Phew - what a week. I’ve been up to Derby to support my friends Roman Found in their book tour, interviewing them at Derby Book Festival about all things metal detecting. It was an ‘in conversation with’ format in front of a live audience. The digital recording will be available soon and I’ll let you know when it is. Then, back via a mega heatwave detecting session dodging tractors in the fields of Wiltshire. I’m working on an expedition vid for you, and it should be ready this Sunday. ❤️ Miss D.

Hello everyone! I’ve got a new permission .. and today I made my first exciting finds along a ridge which appears to have been a travellers’ trail since at least the 1600s! I’m going back in the morning (5th visit 😅) and I’m going to grid out that section and see who else has been there before me…! Metal detecting is a slow, diligent hobby and that’s how it goes sometimes 🤷♀️
