When I lived in China I owned a bunch of "Buddha Boxes"- battery powered automatic prayer chanters.

Now I really want a Digital Tabla- which is like a drum machine for Indian classical music. Short video up now about them- I'm thinking if it's worth making a full length vid!

I’m back with another one of those… videos that people like!


The Chemical Brothers- Block Rockin Beats, they won a Grammy for this you know; “Best Rock Instrumental”. For a song with vocals and no guitars.

The usual drill- I went back to the original samples, found out a few interesting things about them, then remade the song on Koala. Will put up the source file on here later on in case anyone wants to play with it.

Thinking about splitting into two channels:

1) Making music ("how to" stuff in Koala, jamming with synths etc.)
2 ) Appreciating music (sample breakdowns, stories behind songs)

I figure there are a decent number of people who are interested to see 2 but do not care at all about when I start posting about a new feature in Koala or whatever.

What do you think?

Most of my subscribers come from the videos that fit into 2, so this would mean creating a new "Making Music" channel.
