Hello guys, let me tell you something... ❤️
People think LoFi = slowed + reverb.
But that's completely wrong.

LoFi itself is a music style (and production aesthetic). It's not the same thing as slowing down someone else's song.

Slowed + Reverb simply means:
• slowed down
• pitched down (sometimes)
• added reverb

That's it.

Meanwhile, LoFi stands for Low Fidelity.

Modern LoFi usually contains chill & jazzy melodies, piano chords, warm beats, strings, pads, vinyl crackle, tape hiss, and an intentionally imperfect sound to create a nostalgic, relaxing vibe.

So please...
Stop calling every slowed + reverb song "LoFi."
They're not the same thing. ❤️


So guys...

Instead of supporting people who just re-upload songs with a few effects, try supporting actual LoFi producers.

A LoFi producer spends hours making chord progressions, recreating melodies, arranging instruments, designing sounds, mixing, and mastering.

Meanwhile, a slowed + reverb channel often just downloads an existing song, adds a few effects, exports it, and calls it a day.

There's a huge difference between creating music and editing someone else's music.

Support the people who actually create. ❤️
