Episode 23 of The Frontier is the final regular game of the campaign, the Squats are assaulting the Genestealer Cult base in hopes of boarding the cargo ship docked there to discover the origin of this well equipped Xenos threat.

Since a ship of the appropriate size would be a nearly impossible build, I made a little diorama of the ship and the dock to capture the the feel. I’m quite happy with how it turned out!

#Inqtober23 Day 1: Space Hulk Survivor

This is a diorama I threw together called “Necesse est mori” featuring an inquisitorial stormtrooper having what can only be described as a rough time aboard the space hulk Entropy Regnat.

Ordo Xenos Inquisitor Carloque commissioned the 209th regiment to support an exploratory mission into Entropy Regnant after the hulk drifted into close proximity of the Calixis Sector. Their mission was to clear the hulk to allow for a thorough search of one of the capital ships at the heart of the mass of shattered craft, as it was believed to be a long lost exploratory vessel dating back to the great crusade. Initially successful in eliminating the human cultists scattered throughout the ruins, the mission rapidly turned into a catastrophe when the scion: breached a ship containing hundreds of tyrants bioforms of the genestealer variety. Sergeant Gharin’s squad was devastated by the first wave of the beasts, beginning a fighting retreat that saw the soldiers picked off one by one. Gharin himself was eventually cornered by a few of the genestealers, losing his right arm and chain sword in the process. Having lost a lot of blood, he slumped against a wall, the rounds in his bolt pistol the only thing standing between him and the vicious aliens.

Making progress on the Red Rocket, the last part of the roof is printing now, though I may need to reprint the “Red” sign, as I seem to have misplaced it.

It still blows my mind how good the scenery ‪@Modiphius‬ sells STL files for is, also it’s wonderfully large. I’ll actually be able to put a counter and a bunch of stocked shelves inside.

Been on a painting kick, got some footage of the process so this should be an upcoming video. Next part to print is the shelter for the pumps, doing the ground and roof on my #Prusa.

Then shelves; and I’ll need to pick up the STL for the food and the bobble heads to stock the shelves. Then probably the garage. I’m also getting the scatter terrain I made painted at the moment.
Need to scratch build a few ruins and maybe grab some die cast cars to ruin. My second corvega finished printing and I’ll be painting it some time soon, possibly on stream.
