Maximus Ironthumper is a musician and organ builder. As a musician he can play ALL the right notes, although not necessarily in the right order. When it comes to organ building he relies heavily on his friend and fellow youtuber Spungletrumpet. Together they are constructing a pipe organ for the modern age. Made from parts of old church organs, theatre organs and miles of wiring, the organ is to be carried by an ex-Red-Army six wheel drive lorry. This will then be on the road touring in the UK and beyond to fulfill a need for pipe organ music many people may not even know they have.

For those of you wondering what happened to Keitei Ventures - she's been working away... far far away!

In Kermit's latest adventure we attempt to tow a (not very) tiny house 300miles!

Hello! When it goes a bit quiet on my channel, it's usually because the current videos are only available on my patreon page, in this case it's a 3 part series follow my rebuilding of my kitchen on an ultra low budget, a prelude to a serious solar thermal upgrade.
Lots more public videos in the works of course, but in the meantime I can highly recommend this video from the lovely Keitei Ventures - a fireside chat (with lots of video footage!) about an adventure Katie and her friend embarked upon a few years ago - they arrived in Vietnam, bought some (terrible) local motorbikes and set off from Ho Chi Min to Hanoi. Despite breaking down what looks like most days, a very jolly time was had. I found it very inspiring, I hope you do too.

Merry Christmas everybody!! I have some festive treats on the way for you. First a brand new (feature length!) episode of Project Kermit, then Mark joins me for a beer tasting and Q&A session. Stay tuned for both of those coming very soon!

My friend and fellow Youtuber Keitei has just made a video which will re-affirm your faith in humanity, at least that's what I took from it. Also if you like a decent project build series - she is in the middle of an epic tiny house construction - currently at 29 episodes!

I've been asked quite a bit for an update on Project Awesome - the truck mounted pipe organ - well the other half of the team has been hard at work on it recently and here's what he's come up with. Take it away ‪@spungletrumpet‬ !!

Hello! Anyone out there remember Project Kermit??
The big decision with any Land Rover project is whether to start with a new chassis or attempt to repair the old one. Up for the challenge of bringing a 40 year old chassis up to factory new condition (or better!), I got stuck in.
I posted a video about my progress some time ago and now - many months later - I have just about finished editing up the second part of the chassis work. There is so much story to share - it will be bought to you in 5 parts! My Patrons have been watching each episode as I've finished them and starting tomorrow evening I will be releasing them all on here, 1 per night over the next 5 nights.
Cheers!
Max

Making the most of things
I have something to confess to you all - I am a runner - yes I am one of those lycra clad, tomato faced, middle-aged men you see huffing and puffing their way across the countryside.
Why am I telling you now? Well, as I write this, as many of you are all too aware, the whole of the UK, myself included, is back under a forced lockdown (for the 3rd time!). I have been struggling to find anything positive to say about the situation, but I did think of one thing. We are still currently allowed out once a day for exercise - so lets make it count!
Fitness videos presented by super fit people can be quite intimidating, or at least I found them so when I was trying to learn about the subject. So I've made some myself to explain the basics in a way more relevant to the rest of us.
Part 1 is an introduction and sets out to explain just a few fundamental points.
Part 2 will be a detailed look at running.
Part 3 will be all about strength training and how to go about it without going to a gym.
