Final camera gear check for the next adventure … will be living in the wilderness operating solo for 60 days in the Amazon. So packing space is limited…. This is my final mix match of things that take low power as I’ll have no electricity, and are small size as I’ll be living out my pack and hammock. Ditched alot of stuff I typically use … going pretty raw.

Wish me luck! This is just camera gear… still have survival, water and medical supplies 😅

A 20ft shark I swam with many years ago off the waters of California . Never had lasers then, but this giant is what set off my mission.

Her name is Deana, tagged by the legendary shark rager Keith Poe.

If you have not seen my latest expedition film hunting for a giant… it’s out now. Some incredible shark encounters in a place you can no longer film.

Thanks for all the love on the latest volcano video ... lots of people have been commenting on the blonde hair of the people in the solomon islands. Here is an interesting fact - Solomon Islanders possess a unique, recessive gene mutation that causes blonde hair. This evolved without European blonde genes. This indigenous mutation is present in 26% of the population and affects pigmentation, causing bright blonde hair in individuals who inherit it from both parents.
