This Eid feels different.

Today, while we gather in muted celebration, there is an empty space at the table—but perhaps it is not empty at all. Perhaps it has simply shifted… upward.
I picture you smiling in a place where no sorrow reaches, where every prayer arrives instantly, where time is no longer counted in days without you. And maybe, just maybe, when we raise our hands for dua today, yours are raised too—only closer to the One who hears all.
