One step at a time, one obedience at a time. Following God rarely makes logical sense. Our minds will often urge us to lean on our own understanding. Faith calls us higher. One must learn to trust in the Lord with all one's heart.

True obedience—prompt and complete—flows from deep trust in the Lord. It might appear reckless. It might even seem very foolish. Sometimes, the Voice of the King may beckon you to step out onto the waters. Sometimes, the Voice will say, "Leave your country, and your relatives, and your father’s house, and go to the land that I will show you." (Genesis 12:1) ". No details. No map. Just a Voice—and a call to follow.

Recklessness? Foolishness? Perhaps to the world.

Trust Him. Blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord. Keep trusting. You do not need the details of the journey; you only need the next instruction. Stay close in devotion and listen. And when He speaks, follow.

The Covid break in 2020 brought out hidden talents in many people. For me, I discovered a great talent of writing. I intended to write a novel/movie script which had no eternal value really. I had written the first paragraph when I had a dream. A tall man wore very long robes, and swayed in the air, holding a goblet in one hand. As he swayed, he took sips from the goblet. I stood in the midst of thousands of people who were bowed to the ground, each making an impassioned request of the man, some even sobbing. I was in awe as I looked around. Then the man suddenly pointed to me and with a very stern voice said, “You! Even if I give you the gift of writing, will you use it?” I woke up. His voice and the rebuke I had received had me stunned. It didn't take much to understand the message. With prayer and repentance, I consecrated this gift of writing to God, deleted the paragraph I had written and on that same page, wrote the first sentence of this book. God titled it "My Old Friend with No Name", a book He would write through my hands for three years.
