Comic book fans lamented the shut down of a popular Russian comic book scan site, lamenting that an archive of “historic” comics were lost. Yeah, and also high-res copies of THIS WEDNESDAY’S new books.
So I’ve got a theory that ties together comic book piracy, stagnant or falling monthly comics book sales which leads to high cover prices and lower page rates. This in turn attracts a lower caliber of talent, making the paying customers who are left less likely to buy. Rinse and repeat as the monthly comics model circles the drain.

This prompted a reposting from an official White House account in which the government blasted him as a “sick individual.” He’s since taken it down. Probably didn’t want a visit from the FBI. Did Hamill go too far this time?
