Tax limit - no tax upto 12 lakhs yes
Nirmalatai hit it out of the park n its a six
Tax slabs - new scheme
Upto 4 lakhs - 0%
4-8 lakhs -5%
8-12 lakhs - 10%
12-16 lakhs - 15%
16-20 lakhs - 20%
20-24 lakhs -25% - new tax rate
Above 24 lakhs -30 lakhs
But Rs.12 lakh limit not applies to special rates income income like - capital gains income from online games etc - you have to pay taxes on them
Old regime remains d same
For salaried people - standard deduction -75000 new scheme
