Can AutoAlex win a race in a MEV Exocet against public transport? Well you'll have to check out his latest video to find out how he gets on during his epic 400+ mile journey to Scotland 🏴
You couldn't of written a greater challenge for one of our Kit Cars 🔥
Everybody knows a Dave... and it seems at MEV HQ, everyone we know is called Dave.
This week has been mainly about Speed of Sights new car, Dave!
Monday and Tuesday was spent getting the skate ready for fabricator David to deliver the chassis on Wednesday.
David and Stewart (soon to be renamed Dave) spent Wednesday afternoon and Thursday dry-building Dave, making sure interior panels all fit around the dual-control setup and drilling a hundred and 2 holes for panels and the floor in preparation for powder coating.
Mike and Karen from the charity came over Sunday to drop off Baxter for his pre-season service and spanner check. They also got to meet Dave for the first time while Stewart, Micky (whose middle name is probably Dave) and Sylv (Davina?) were putting the finishing touches on Dave before he was loaded up ready for dropping off at the powder coaters on Monday.
The fibreglass panels are being collected tomorrow on the way back from dropping Dave off, ready to start the build as soon as he’s back at the workshop.
Its all go at MEV KIT CARS getting this new build ready for the start of the season while finishing off 2 other customer cars.
Dont worry, all those who’ve placed orders in January haven’t been forgotten, we’ll send out links to your order tracker next week.
To kick off 2025 in style. Here's a our latest insider video where we take a deep dive into our MEV Exocets.
Looking at what's involved in building one, and why its highly regarded as one of the best kit cars IN THE WORLD!
We shot this content in late November, which wasn't easy due to minimal daylight. Plus not forgetting to mention that I was dealing with the remnants of a darn cold.
Yet I'm really pleased that we can finally begin to share what we've been working on over the last two months. Hope you enjoy it!
