We focus on analyzing the best meta decks across a variety of MTG formats like Standard, Explorer, Historic and Timeless. Each week we come out with metagame breakdowns for Bo1 and Bo3 analyzing what has the best results.

Spotlight Toronto Sealed Main Event update.
Played 12h yesterday in the 2000 person main event for full 8 rounds. Pool overall was fine but nothing over the top great. Day 2 needed a record of 6-2 to advance. Started off 5-0 and was feeling great. Round 6 got paired against Sam Black (HoF). went to game 3 where I got him to 1 life but could not get the last point of damage through. Round 7 my deck just did nothing with lands and spells just not coming together. Round 8, take the first game but then got out-grinded in games 2 & 3 by a pool with 9 removal spells making it impossible to stick a threat. Day was done at 5-3 and no day 2. Finished 264 / 2000 so still proud of my run but needing just 1 more win for day 2 still hurts.
Will try to get back into the content space next week now that my prep is over for the event.

Content update for the week. Need to wait until Tuesday passes for 7 day game cap to lift off untapped so I can do fewer games played for eternal formats. Right now historic and timeless are pretty narrow to see new cards flow in. Tomorrow will have a gameplay showcase for the Bant Airbend combo deck.
