I've done my best to keep y'all up to date on where I've been and what I've been doing on livestreams and on Bluesky etc. But I know the majority of you aren't on there, so I might as well take the opportunity to just give a bit of a project update!

Let's get this out of the way first: I HAVE been working on JoJo Part 6 But Really Really Fast! This is the project by far the majority of my audience wants to see, I can barely read the comments on any of my videos without folks wondering why this project isn't done yet.
Probably the biggest thing that slowed it down was being overwhelmed by the scope of the project, among all the other projects I've promised over time (Cough cough BRRF Direct cough cough). I've been spending a loooot of time the past few months chipping away at my project backlog behind the scenes, and I'm very happy with the progress I've made! I can confirm, as of a few weeks ago, that the JoJo Part 6 Script is Done! It's longer than the Part 5 video, there are significantly more characters I need to draw for it, and I can ONLY HOPE the wait will be worth it.

This has been a common pattern ever since I finished the JoJo Part 2 video: Folks wait for the JoJo Part 3 video, it takes longer than I expect to finish, finally I finish the JoJo Part 3 video. Folks wait for the JoJo Part 4 video, it takes longer than I expect to finish... And so on. I promised this video would be done around a couple years ago now, and though I said I wanted to scale back the scope of these big big projects so that I could get them out faster, I said I WOULDN'T do that for JoJo Part 6. It's too important for that!

Despite it being done to my best ability, and being happy with the script, I still worry that folks won't be happy that it took this long. And just so it's absolutely clear: I'm not happy about it either! I want this project done more than you do!
But... For the first time in a long long time, the end feels in sight. Not necessarily close, but in sight. And that is extremely relieving. Remember I'm only one person! I do the writing, voices, audio mixing, art and animation, aaaaaaall on my own. I've gotten a bit of art help recently but that's it! So I can ONLY ASK... For a bit more of your patience.

Until then: Maaaybe I'll do another couple of short projects in the meantime. Like this Halloween one! It'll be finished very shortly and only took about a week to make. Hope y'all enjoy it!

Hey folks!! I know most of you are here for the "But Really Really Fast" content (And I'll be resuming production on Ace Attorney BRRF pretty soon!), but I thought I might share a little side-project I'd been working on the past few weeks: An updated design for my Spiderbat character!

Yes, actually for real actually actually. Yes, the video is finally finished. Goodness gracious I can finally rest for the first time in months. This was a massive massive undertaking and I'm so happy y'all are finally gonna be seeing the fruits of my labour! I've been working literally all day every day on this for months, and I swear it's felt like this has been "One week away from release" for like 5 months straight. WOW it sure smells like a JOJO PART 5 GOLDEN WIND in here!!

For a long long while I've been working on the next "JoJo But Really Really Fast" video, and, needless to say (I'd hope), I did not, in fact, get it finished, really really fast. Even though (Besides minor exceptions, like the Squid Game/Rohan BRRF projects), it's been the only project I've really been working on the past half year!

It's just animation projects like these take a long long time to get out the door (Especially when you're, one person. A one-person team. I am the only one who is working on these videos, from scripting to art, voice to sound work, directing and editing, animation???, oh my).

Especially considering this one is clocking in at over 20 minutes, almost TWICE the length of the Part 4 video!

All this is to say: My original goal was to have the Part 5 video out before Stone Ocean/Part 6's anime starts, which is... TOMORROW? WHAT?? Uhhh so despite the amount of work I've already spent on this, my original deadline goal won't be met. I know I could've rushed through production and gotten something out on time, but I do very much prefer giving myself the time to put out the best piece of work I can, and I hope y'all understand my decision!!

...And now the good news, everything is coming together VERY nicely!! 99% of the art and 99% of the soundwork is done, if you want a metaphor here's one: I've hand-crafted every single piece of a lego set, and the last step is to put it all together!!

So when is it ACTUALLY coming out? I don't have a date yet, but I do want to make it a live premiere, and I will be announcing that here on my YouTube Community page! My, uh, new goal, is, December, and I'm gonna REALLY try to hit that goal, but... Let's just say y'all might have a good idea on how bad my time-management skills are. But we'll see!!!
