Since 2014, First Balfour has built over 57,000 square meters of leasable space for the Ready Built Factories (RBF) inside the First Philippine Industrial Park in Santo Tomas, Batangas. Completed RBFs are leased to foreign and local companies who want to immediately establish operations in the Philippines. The latest solar-ready RBF model, RBF-X, which was awarded to First Balfour in 2019 is one of FPIP’s largest building complexes to date.

As we celebrate our 53rd year this month, let's take a look back at some of the infrastructure we built in an aim to bridge businesses, advance economies, grow communities, and champion sustainability.
A major infrastructure and now one of Cebu's iconic landmarks, the 8.5-kilometer Cebu-Cordova Link Expressway (CCLEX) connects mainland Cebu from Cebu City to Cordova town in Mactan Island. The toll expressway does not only ease traffic congestion but also helps spur economic activities in the Visayas region. It was awarded in 2017 to the Cebu Link Joint Venture composed of Acciona Construccion, First Balfour, and DMCI.
CCLEX along with our portfolio of transport infrastructure projects support the company’s commitment to helping the Philippines attain the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) particularly SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure), and SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production).
