A little exciting update 🧵😀

I finally turned on channel memberships!

If you've ever wanted a simple way to support the channel a little extra (and help keep tutorials, patterns, and sewing resources coming), memberships are now live. 💛😊

Think of it as a cozy little sewing circle with things like custom emojis (made by me...hope you enjoy!), member polls to help shape future projects, occasional member discounts, and a few behind-the-scenes peeks along the way.

No pressure at all (seriously). Watching, sewing along, downloading patterns, commenting, and being here already means so much. But for anyone who's asked for a way to support the channel more directly, this is now an option.

Thank you for helping me build this little corner of the internet. 🙏🥰

If you're interested, you can join here 👉youtube.com/channel/UC3zKHC8zGW1OSmw87jqjG_w/join
OR by clicking the "join" button at the top of my channel.

P.S. Tiny heads up: membership pricing appears to look different on mobile. It should be lower when viewed in a browser/desktop. :)

My Memorial Day weekend got rained out. Did you end up sewing instead of enjoying the sunshine like I did?

I don't know about where you are, but here on the East Coast, we're having the rainiest, dreariest Memorial Day.

So if you're stuck inside unexpectedly like me, here's a quick sewing project to enjoy.

If you’re still trying to figure out where to buy sewing supplies after JoAnn Fabrics closed, I recently put together a video covering 6 legitimate options for things like thread, zippers, hardware, stabilizers, sewing tools, and more 🧵

I also talked a little bit about why I shop at some and not others, because some are better for certain types of sewing than others.

So if you missed it the first time around, here’s the video 😊

I'm curious how familiar people are with Sewing Parts Online. 👀

One simple way to save time and money when sewing:

➡️ Buy zippers in bulk.

If you sew regularly (especially accessories), you’re going to need zippers again and again.

Buying multi-packs usually costs way less per zipper, and it means you don’t have to run to the store every time you want to start a project.

It also makes sewing feel more spontaneous... when you already have what you need, it’s a lot easier to just start.

If you’re interested, I’ve linked a few zipper packs I’ve personally used below. They come in a good range of colors and sizes and are great to have on hand:

(Some of these are affiliate links. I may earn commission at no cost to you.)

🛍️ 9” multicolor zipper pack, 100 pcs 👉 geni.us/GlNE
🛍️ 14” multicolor zipper pack, 80 pcs 👉 geni.us/oKQ7TdA
🛍️ 22” multicolor zipper pack, 60 pcs👉 geni.us/v69dI59

✨Have you ever considered buying zippers in bulk? ✨
