Mad Dog Kenny and I are back on Kyle’s 433” Pontiac engine build for his 1968 GTO. It’s been a hot minute since we’ve been able to work on it, but last night we got the pistons and rods installed. Video will be available on the next few days, until then, stay tuned and stay cool!

What an awesome item to add to my collection! Kenny Safford’s uniform shirt he wore as part of the Grand Spaulding Dodge Super Charger funny car team. If you look closely, you can see where it says “Safford” over the pocket. I collect anything “Grand Spaulding Dodge” and this is definitely one of my favorite items so far!

Gotta love the throwback to drag racing of an era that was wild, entertaining, unique, colorful, and fast! Last weekend at the Chaos Super Nationals held at Summit Motorsports Park was definitely “old school cool” with fabulous floppers and backup girls. Definitely pretty cool to see this is making a solid comeback. Gives the sport personality!

Well, we are qualified for the Chaos Super Nationals at Summit Motorsports Park in Norwalk, OH. That being said, today’s racing was moved to tomorrow due to rain. So as a team, we headed to Cleveland and went to the Rock n’ Roll Hall of Fame. Absolutely amazing place!

We are back! We tested the Street Fuel Coupe over the weekend at Great Lakes Dragway, video of that is now available. It was the first outing of the car since the big crash in Texas. I had a great day at the Route 66 Nationals in Joliet. Got to see a lot of great racing and even met The Greek! Hanging out with Kim Dyer-O’Connell and Ron O’Donnell was an awesome time! Kim’s knowledge of drag racing is pretty awesome and Ron’s career in drag racing was wild! Oh, and if you like cigars, Tony Schumacher has some excellent ones! Enjoy your day!
