The House of Whyte, like myself, has gone through many eras. For about 15 years I was very much entrenched in the historical costuming community, and this channel, under the name of "Beauty From Ashes" was dedicated to that pursuit. That era ended around 2019. I have been a collector of all things antique and vintage since I was a child and at one point in time, I wanted this channel to be an online museum, and that resulted in the channel being renamed "The House of Whyte Online Museum". That ended around January 2022. A few things have remained constant, however, through these two eras and that has been my love of tea, all things having to do with tea, being creative and using beautiful items to make my house a comfortable and welcoming home for my husband, family and friends.
