Some collaborations feel special from the very first note. This was one of them.
Today we’re so excited to share 'The Bells of Notre Dame & Out There' with our great friends Ringmasters. Many of you will already know and love their legendary version of this music, and all of us at VOCES8 have been huge admirers of their artistry for years.
For this collaboration, we wanted to bring even more colour, drama and Disney magic to the piece. The adaptation was created by Ringmasters’ own Rasmus Krigström, inspired by the original music of Alan Menken and the arrangement by Aaron Dale.
What I love most about this recording is the sense of joy in the room. Two vocal families coming together, pushing the sound as far as we possibly could. I genuinely think it may be the loudest noise we’ve ever made inside the VOCES8 Centre!
