Yesterday I visited the Nova exhibition sharing the stories and accounts of the young party goers who lost their life on 7 October 2023 at the Nova music festival. It’s a harrowing and emotional exhibition showcasing the events of that night. The first scene shows the lead up and the party goers enjoying the yearly music festival you then enter a room with chaotic noise and the actual phone footage from the night of people running, being kidnapped and injured. There is also footage of hostages being taken and stories from first responders, some of the footage is very harrowing with responders sharing stories of mutilations, sexual abuse and extreme violence. Then you enter a room with the actual bar from the festival and shoes and clothes from the scene. Everything at the exhibition from the burnt out cars, clothes and phones is from the festival. Even the bar with in some cases half drunk bottles of spirit. At the end a survivor from the night sits down and shares their story. The security for this event is higher than flying, every single pen lid is checked, car key fobs checked etc. #novaexhibition #exhibition #london #thingstodoinlondon @novaexhibition #secretlondon

I I finally went to the Isles of Scilly after years of wanting to visit and I was not disappointed at all! The only thing I will say is the day ferry only gives you 3.5 hours on the island, which is nowhere near long enough to explore and definitely not enough time to see the other islands. It’s a very beachy place so I feel good weather is rly important! #isleofscilly #britishislands #scilly #stmarys

Whilst visiting the Scilly isles I absolutely loved seeing this subtropical community garden Carreg Dhu . It is totally free to visit and ran entirely by local volunteers. The sheltered garden covers an area of 1.5 acres and occupies the site of an old quarry. It was first started by Richard and June Lethbridge in 1986.

I also really enjoyed the Longstone Lodge cafe right next door where I had a super delicious iced coffee.
