I've found myself feeling really reflective after hosting my very first art retreat. It brought me back to the moment I decided to finally put myself first and take myself on a retreat years ago. That experience changed something in me, and getting to create that space for others has been incredibly meaningful.

One of the most beautiful parts of the weekend was watching people give themselves permission to slow down and make time for themselves. It's something so many of us struggle with. We spend so much of our lives caring for others, meeting deadlines, and putting everyone else's needs ahead of our own that we forget we deserve that time too.

I'm so proud of everyone who attended. Not just because they made beautiful art, but because they had genuine breakthroughs and found new confidence in themselves. The attendees told me that after doing the art workshops, they felt brave enough to try new things and push themselves past fears. Art became the doorway to some much needed self care!

It's been amazing to watch this new retreat curriculum come to life and see how it helps people reconnect with themselves and become the artists they want to be. If you've been thinking about joining, I'd love to have you. I have two more retreats coming up in July and August. 💛

VIRTUAL ART RETREATS are coming to you this summer 🌞

When I did my own art retreat in 2022, I thought I was just taking a few days to make art. I didn’t realize I was setting the foundation for years to come.

Since then, so many of you have asked how to do your own art retreat… But the truth is planning one can feel overwhelming.

So I had a different idea:

what if I guided you through it?

✨ I’m hosting 2-day at-home art retreats this summer

We’ll:
– shift how you think about your art
– use writing to clarify your direction
– create through a collage-based workshop (no experience needed)

This isn’t about becoming a collage artist.

It’s about making intentional time for yourself! I've always loved summer camp and was sad to realize there isn't much programming for adults! So this is my way of bringing that to you.

Potential dates:
June 13 + 14 9-12 CST
July 18 & 19 12-3 PM CST
August 22 & 23: 9-12 CST

You can join solo or with a friend (there’s a discount if you come together).
