Hey y'all!

Good news and bad news.

Bad news first. The video isn't ready yet.

Good news is, everything is recorded, I'm just in the editing stage. And because this isn't one of my "unscripted" videos, the editing is taking a little longer than I expected. While I like using Premier Pro for editing my videos, sometimes its like bringing a tank to a bar fight. BUT, if everything aligns I should be able to finish it tomorrow night and get it loaded.

I definitely find my "unscripted" videos, where I do everything in one take whether it works or not, easier go edit. :)

Hey y'all!

Realistically it will be next week until I have a new video out. I'm working on one right now around required review by specific teams using rulesets, which we just put out in public preview, and how to use it in tandam with the CODEOWNERS file. This is going to fix a painpoint that I see with a lot of customers.

Also working on getting ready for Christmas. Christmas decorations, inside and out are up. I managed to get it done before the weather turned SUPER cold and rainy.

And right now my goto for wasting a few minutes of time is an older computer game called FTL: Faster Than Light. I like it because I can play for just a few minutes and save and come back to it later. Right now I'm stuck trying to win using the Mantis race, but haven't been successful yet. If you have any tips let me know.

One of the most requested videos lately has been "how do we migrate from BitBucket Datacenter to GitHub". Good news! I'm working on that video right now. I've stood up a test BitBucker Datacenter running locally on Docker, and I'm working my way through the migration process now.

If everything goes well, I should have the video up by Friday.

I do apologize for the lack of content the past couple of months. I was busy helping get GitHub Universe ready. Now that it is successful and done, I can get back to creating content for y'all.

Let me know what content I should create next.
