It's known as a beach and party area, because it's on the western coast and has dozens of lovely beaches, but what people rarely tell you about is how it's the Las Vegas and GAMBLING hub of all of India. It was also a Portuguese colony for hundreds of years and the remnants of that can be seen in the architecture and even in the names of the locals. Check out my deep dive on the place. Hey guys - my most recent video is a real eye-opener. All we hear about are China's railways (mainly from paid shills and random various douchebags) but during my trip to India, I learned that India is upping their game. They have an initiative called 'Make in India'.. and MAKING they are. Including this first class, cutting edge subway in Mumbai... designed, manufactured and built in-house from the ground up in India... yet we hear nothing about this and they get no shine for their efforts.
