Hello everyone… my name is Rogério Meazza.
Behind KINGDOM ROOTS GOSPEL there is not a company or a big team. There is just a man trying to keep his faith alive while carrying the weight of real life every single day.
There are days when I honestly do not know how I will pay the bills or even what I will put on the table for my family to eat. Life has not been easy for me. But even in the hardest moments, I have never wanted to lose my faith in God.
For the past 9 years, my wife has been living with a rare disease that slowly destroys the bones in her hips. She has very limited movement, so much of the responsibility at home falls on me. I work, take care of the house, help her with everything I can and still try to create these songs whenever I find the strength.
Some nights I am completely exhausted. Sometimes I have to choose between resting for a few hours… or staying awake making music because I know someone out there may need hope, peace or prayer that night.
And honestly… what keeps me going are your comments.
When people tell me:
“this song helped me”
“this music gave me peace”
“I felt closer to God again”
…that gives me strength to continue.
These songs come from real life, real pain, real faith and real hope.
