A fire burns in my heart to teach and defend the truth of God in such areas as prophecy, the gospel and salvation, sola scriptura, spiritual warfare, and discipleship. Sadly, many in our day underestimate the value of truth. God seeks those who will worship him in Spirit and truth (John 4:23-24). Truth ignites hearts. Josiah's revival began when the truth of the Bible was unburied from under the rubbish in the temple (2 Kings 22-23). Truth delivers from the lies of the Father of lies (John 8:31-32), and every one of his lies robs believers of intended blessing (John 10:10).

"Christians" Who Aren't Regenerated
The New Testament makes a clear distinction between professing Christ and possessing Christ.
Jesus warned:
"Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven..." (Matthew 7:21-23)
These people claimed to prophesy, cast out demons, and perform miracles in Christ's name. Yet Jesus said, "I never knew you."
Notice He said many. This isn't a minor problem but a major one.
Scripture also speaks of those who have a form of godliness but deny its power (2 Timothy 3:5), who are spots in the church's love feasts and twice dead (Jude 12), and of those who escape the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of Christ only to return like a dog to its vomit or a sow to its wallow (2 Peter 2:20-22).
As John explains, "They went out from us, but they were not of us" (1 John 2:19).
A profession of faith is not the same as regeneration.

SAVING GRACE
Many understand grace as God's gift of justification-but Scripture also shows that grace regenerates and sanctifies.
"The grace of God... teaches us to deny ungodliness..." (Titus 2:11โ12)
"The goodness of God leads you to repentance." (Romans 2:4)
Grace doesn't merely pardon sin; it transforms the sinner. Justification, regeneration, and sanctification are distinct, but they are inseparable. We don't receive Christ's forgiveness apart from the new life His grace creates. To receive saving grace is to receive the whole Christ and the whole work of His grace.

The new birth is not merely a decision, a profession, or a moment in time-it is a supernatural work of God.
Under the New Covenant, God promises: "I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you" (Ezek. 36:26). Jesus said, "Unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God" (John 3:3).
Regeneration is the impartation of spiritual life by the Holy Spirit through the Word of God (1 Pet. 1:23; Titus 3:5). Those who are truly born again are indwelt and sealed by the Holy Spirit, for "if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His" (Rom. 8:9).
The new birth inevitably produces a new direction of life. The believer is not sinlessly perfect, but neither can he continue in a settled pattern of living for self, sin, and the world. He now wars against sin, pursues Christ, and walks in newness of life (Rom. 6:4). He may stumble, but he will not remain down, because "whatever is born of God overcomes the world" (1 John 5:4).
Grace is absolutely free, but the grace that saves also regenerates, indwells, empowers, and transforms.
