The New Moon in Taurus in the sky/sidereal chart perfects at 4 PM Eastern Time on May 16, and will bring a stronger sense of balance, grounding, and stabilization. Mercury also shifts into the constellation Taurus through May 30th offering an energetic invitation to slow down, settle the nervous system, and reconnect with clarity, practicality, and presence.
Here in Virginia, the spring weather has been exceptional, and I was out grounding last night, barefoot in the grass, aligning my energy with the living field of Earth. I always sleep better when I remember to do this. There is something deeply restorative about reconnecting with natures rhythm.
This New Moon also conjuncts Mercury and Uranus - a time for sudden insights, new patterns, and change. At the same time, its sextile to Neptune and trine to Pluto support creativity, intuition, subtle insights and and instinctive perceptions to rise more fully into consciousness.
In practical terms, this can aid you in decision-making related to finances and resources.
We are also moving through the Mars conjunct Chiron and Eris transit this weekend stimulating a need for authenticity, originality, sovereignty, and emotional truth. Against the backdrop of digital spaces and increasing energetic overwhelm, this transit may intensify the desire to reclaim your own rhythm, your own voice, and your own energetic boundaries.
This is a powerful time to simplify, ground, recalibrate, and reconnect with what genuinely nourishes and strengthens you.
