4 years ago I made a video on my old YouTube channel that went viral. It was called “The Myth of Female Friendship.”
It detailed how I thought friendships with women were a lie. How the idea of friendship that we were sold in tv and movies was fake.
What I didn’t share, was that this video was inspired by a lot of pain that I was experiencing at the time. Pain from friendships that ended, family relationships that ended, and so much more.

Now, 4 years later, my thoughts on friendships are completely different. My social life looks completely different. My friendships look completely different.
I’m surrounded by women who are strong, supportive, beautiful, and who show up for me in ways I didn’t have when I made that first video all those years ago.
I’ve discovered a few things about myself over the years and I wanted to share how I went from feeling so alone, to feeling so supported. And to provide comfort and encouragement for anyone going through a hard time. Anyone who thinks that the darkness you’re in now is going to last forever. I can tell you, hang on… it does get better.

I had my first pop up of the Summer and it was so much fun! It is such a dream to be able to bring flowers to people in my community and bear witness to the joy that flowers bring to everyone!
We set up on a gorgeous back patio and built bouquets, laughed and chatted all things floral. I even had a few brides come through to chat about wedding florals.
But it was especially cool to see the flowers I grew on our farm used in the cupcakes and baked goods!! It was all so beautiful.

My husband and I celebrated 3 years married last week in our favorite place and it was as magical as always.
I learned a little too late in my journey as an online creator to keep my private life private, but my husband is truly my biggest cheerleader, my unpaid assistant 😂, my best friend and the heart and soul behind so much of my life. So I wanted to publicly give him his flowers that he so earnestly deserves.
He is the most hard working, loving person - filled with joy, optimism, curiosity and a genuine desire to truly connect with everyone he comes across. He is intelligent, kind, hilarious and one of the best people I’ve ever met.
3 years married, 8 years together (in August) and I still would rather hang out with him than anyone else.
Being married to him has been the greatest gift and I feel insanely honored that I get to be in his orbit.
In this lifetime, and in all the lifetimes to come.
