So election results came out, and honestly, some big surprises!!!

BJP won in Bengal and Assam, INC took Kerala, and TVK won in Tamil Nadu, but the most shocking part, power shifts in Bengal and Tamil Nadu

In Bengal, Mamata Banerjee’s long rule is finally over, people are giving mixed reactions, some say it was bound to happen after so many years in power, others are questioning the removal of around 9 lakh votes by the ECI, opposition says those were mostly Muslim votes, while ruling side says they were illegal immigrants, so yeah, full controversy...

The thing that really needs to be discussed is, Ratna Debnath, who is the mother of the RG Kar rape case victim, has won the election on a BJP ticket. Now BJP is saying that this will help her get justice, but in reality, they have just used her during the elections. There were many other ways to help her get justice. If every rape victim starts getting election tickets, then development will remain just in name. And on one hand, BJP gives space in the party to convicted rapists, while on the other hand, they give a ticket to the mother of a rape victim.

Also, Amit Shah said that under their govt, women will feel safe even at night, sounds good, but honestly, how much can we trust these promises when there are already serious allegations against some politicians!!
