Pentecost is not only about fire, power, and celebration. It is also about conviction, humility, and repentance.
Pastor reminded us that when the Holy Spirit truly comes, He does not only make us shout. He shows us ourselves.
The proper posture for Pentecost is a humble heart that can say, “Lord, search me. Cleanse me. Realign me.”
This was not a word of condemnation. It was a call to mercy, maturity, and alignment. God is not trying to destroy us. He is trying to heal us, restore us, and open what has been held up.
Family, let’s keep a repentant heart, a clean spirit, and a sincere walk with God.
Declare it today: Nothing missing. Nothing lacking. Nothing broken.
What a transformative time in prayer this morning!🔥🔥🔥
As we began Day 2 of our Consumed Consecration, the Lord impressed upon our hearts the need for renewed passion, holy hunger and a fresh reverence for God.
We are living in a time when many are becoming irreverent and spiritually dead. Many know God, attend church and even carry the Holy Spirit, yet have lost their passion for deeper intimacy, greater obedience, spiritual growth and desire to witness. God’s heart longs for a people who refuse to settle and who continually pursue Him with hunger and expectation.
The cry of the house this morning was: [Lord, ignite my passion again.]
We prayed for fresh fire, renewed zeal, and a deeper desire for the things of God. [Infilling of the Holy Spirit]
Those who were hungry to receive the infilling of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues this morning, if you felt a stirring and received it this morning, testify and let us know.
If you did not receive it immediately, do not be discouraged. It’s not rejection. Hunger matters. Keep pressing, return to worship, to prayer and to surrender daily. Some receive immediately and some receive after weeks of seeking.
It may feel unfamiliar or sound foolish. Don’t wait until words “appear” fully formed. Yield the organ. Stop speaking in your known language. As long as you’re filling the space with English, you’re not making room. Silence in the mind. Sound in the mouth.
Jesus said: _“The Father gives the Holy Spirit to those who ask.”_ (Luke 11:13)
_“Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.”_ (Matthew 5:6)
If you truly desire more of God, He will honor that hunger.
Rev Fam, do not become comfortable where you are spiritually. There is always more in God. Stay hungry. Stay teachable. Stay yielded. Stay on fire.
