to state media.

Due to this concern, Kim Jong Un reportedly ordered the army to work “on immediately stabilising the supply of medicines in Pyongyang”, the capital, where Omicron was detected last week in North Korea’s first reported cases of COVID-19.

NEW YORK — The man accused of shooting 10 people on a Brooklyn subway train was arrested Wednesday.

He was charged with a federal terrorism offense after the suspect called police to come get him, law enforcement officials said.

Frank R. James, 62, was taken into custody about 30 hours after the violence on a rush-hour train, which left people around the city in shock.

CLIFTON HILL, NIAGARA FALLS - Deadly shooting, 1 dead, 2 others wounded.

One young person is dead and two others are injured after an overnight deadly shooting in a popular tourist area in Niagara Falls.

Niagara Regional Police officers responded to a shooting inside the Great Canadian Midway entertainment complex on Clifton Hill at around 12:30 a.m. on Friday.

Niagara Falls Mayor Jim Diodati tweeted on Friday morning: "I am saddened to learn of the tragic incident that took place in our City last night.

Investigators are looking for a blue Ford F-150 Super Crew 4-door pick-up truck as vehicle of interest. It was observed leaving the area at a high rate of speed. It had dark tinted windows, a tri-fold tonneau cover, and a moonroof (see photo)

CHINA - Chinese surgeons and medical personnel were accused of killing death row prisoners by removing their hearts for transplant even before the official declaration of their death, according to a new academic paper (American Journal of Transplantation)

Authors of the study, researcher Matthew P. Robertson and cardiac surgeon Jacob Lavee, examined 2,838 cases to determine whether the 348 "surgeons, nurses, anesthesiologists, and other medical workers or researchers" who participated in the executions of inmates between 1980 and 2015 had removed the organs of death row inmates before they officially declared dead.

In an interview with Al Jazeera., Robertson said: "It has been found that these physicians became the executioners on behalf of the state, and that the method of execution was heart removal,"
