Everyone wants to lead, but before God entrusts you with people, He often teaches you how to follow.
So ask yourself: Who am I following?
Some people follow trends. Some follow excitement. Some follow influence or popularity. But make sure God is the One leading you to the person you’re following.
My life is proof that followership is not a scam. Following the right people, the people God ordained for my assignment and destiny, has shaped my life. It has shown me where to go, who to become, and how to become.
So before you’re in a hurry to lead, learn to follow first. Let God refine you through the right leaders.
Be careful who you follow, because who you follow can determine where you end up.
