To those concerned. My recent "I Am A Total Girlfailure" was an admission/adaptation as to where i have been after my cats passing a few months ago. In short, I could only express myself through a story like this. IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT BELOW.
TLDR first; 1. I AM REBOOTING THE CHANNEL LORE. Girl Failure is canon, but not "Chapter 1" as i want to make stories self contained / slice of life. A. Bathtub estrogen will be re written and re made as a film AFTER some time to cook with slice of life. B. The meme videos act as a loose approximation as to the history, but not hard canon.
(My thumbnail style has been changed to represent this new chapter, using 3d models now.)
**IF YOU HAVE CONCERNS ABOUT THE REBOOT / RETCONS, THE FOLLOWING IS FOR YOU.** Over the years, I have explored this unique channel wide continuity that ultimately has become hard to follow. I have also learned SO MUCH over the years, that the past learning curves have become a creative weight. To make the best possible stories, a refresh is necessary.
I kept the meme videos as a loose approximation as it feels accurate to the characters and also doesn't wipe all of the time spent invested in my channel.
OMW to get bottom surgery. My last video for a while is up this coming weekend (if i am in surgery it goes up, if for some reason things don’t pan out i’ll be deleting it 💪🏳️⚧️) ALSO two shorts for the next two weekends🔥 Can’t wait to see you when i’m back!
Moving forward I will be going back to the smooth animation style for Bathtub Estrogen, here's why
TLDR. I want to master my original highly expressive style before trying anything new, (This means if you like the original style, it will be getting a massive upgrade to whole new level. I've already re built my pipeline to support this)
If I ever DO try stylized, instead of just slapping a 12 - 16 fps limit on pre existing animation, i want to build my workflow around that stylization to bring the best out of it. I ultimately feel unhappy with the end result, as although is some places it looks great, others it is quite jank
