A small prayer… a small farewell… for my Bruzo 🐾🕊️

There are some goodbyes that don’t just break your heart… they change you forever.

Yesterday, we said goodbye to our Bruzo. Not just a pet… but a piece of our soul, our family, our child.

He left us due to a cardiac arrest… but even in his final moments, he showed what he always was — a lion. Brave. Strong. Unshaken.

He fought till his last breath.
He walked on his own… didn’t let anyone carry him… didn’t ask for help… just kept going until he reached the hospital.
And at the very entrance… he rested his head on my feet… and quietly… left.

I will never forget that moment. That last eye contact… as if he was saying goodbye… as if he was telling me it’s okay… as if he was merging into something beyond us.

The past few months were not easy for him.
He had stopped eating… stopped drinking… his body was giving up… but his spirit never did.

And somewhere deep inside, I truly believe — Mahadev, Pashupatinath, Kaal Bhairav — called him back.
Maybe his suffering was over.
Maybe Shiv ji himself took him to Shiv Lok… to peace, to freedom.

Because Bruzo was not ordinary.
He was pure. Spiritual. Different.

He would sit with us during pujas… hawans… chants… sadhanas… like he belonged there.
Navratri felt incomplete without his energy.
He was calm, innocent, and so deeply understanding… never angry, never difficult… just love, always love.

He was a foodie, our little kid…
Soft toys were his world… late night munchings were his joy…
Car rides, auto rides — anything as long as he was with us.

And something that will stay with me forever…
On his last day… before we even realized what was happening…
He was sitting right in front of our Shivling… unwell… vomiting… as if he was asking Mahadev for help… or maybe… surrendering.

Maybe… that was his way of saying — “I’m ready.”

Today, the house feels empty.
Too silent. Too still.
A void that nothing can fill.

They say losing a pet is sometimes more painful than losing a human… because with them, the love is pure. No expectations. No conditions. Just presence.

Bruzo…
You came into our lives and taught us love.
And now you’ve left… teaching us what loss truly feels like.

I loved you your whole life…
And I will miss you for the rest of mine.

You were not just a part of our life…
You were our life.

Thank you for choosing us… for 9 beautiful years…
I truly believe it was your soul… sent by Mahadev… and maybe even blessed by Kaal Bhairav… that chose us to serve you.

We are shattered. Broken. Empty.
But somewhere, we are holding onto faith…
That you are in a better place…
That Mahadev is taking care of you now.

I hope we find the strength to accept this… someday.

Please pray for Bruzo.
Pray that his soul rests in peace…
Pray that he finds the same love and warmth wherever he is.

Forever loved. Never forgotten. 🐾
