Thank you once again!

Back in 2012, we went out carrying our songs and trying to show Anjos do Acaso the old-fashioned way: knocking on doors, looking for radio stations and talking to people who still gave independent bands a chance.
Time passed, work came, family came, adult life became busy... but the songs remained here.
That's why we want to thank Cristiano Carvalho and Programa Serrinha Rock 104.9 FM, straight from Serrinha - Bahia, Brazil, for keeping this space alive for independent bands and for everyone who still believes music can also be ideas, stories and expression.
Starting this Wednesday, Anjos do Acaso will be played there. We don't even know which song will be played yet lol, but the simple fact that there are still people creating space for the Brazilian underground scene deserves respect.
As I told Cristiano: we are not very good with social media 😂. We don't make a living from music. We work, take care of our lives and share our ideas with the world whenever we can.
We also don't really know where to send our material to underground web radios around the countries where our English versions have reached. That's why we haven't sent them yet. If we find those paths and time allows us, we will.

Agradecemos novamente

Lá em 2012 a gente saiu com nossas músicas debaixo do braço tentando mostrar o Anjos do Acaso do jeito antigo mesmo: batendo em porta, rádio, conversando com quem ainda dava espaço para banda independente.
O tempo passou, vieram trabalho, família, correria da vida adulta... mas as músicas continuaram aqui.
Por isso fica nosso agradecimento ao Cristiano Carvalho e ao Programa Serrinha Rock 104,9 FM, direto de Serrinha - BA, por manter esse espaço vivo para bandas autorais e para quem ainda acredita que música também pode ser ideia, história e expressão.
A partir desta quarta o Anjos do Acaso vai aparecer por lá. Nem sabemos ainda qual música vai tocar kkk, mas só de existir gente abrindo espaço para o underground brasileiro já merece respeito.
Como falei para o Cristiano: somos meio ruins de rede social 😂. Não vivemos de música, trabalhamos, administramos nossas vidas e colocamos nossas ideias no mundo quando conseguimos.
Obrigado Serrinha Rock pelo espaço.

Anjos do Acaso

Sometimes I really don’t understand.
I look at the numbers of people from different countries reaching simple posts, sending emails.
I receive messages by email asking for more things, other social networks, more information… and honestly, many times I don’t even know exactly what to answer.
Because we are only on YouTube. We don’t use Instagram, TikTok… maybe because these networks make me tired and I don’t use them.
I am not a professional musician.
I am not an academic philosopher.
Maybe I am just too much of a common guy.
I am not someone trying to teach anything.
I work every day at my real job, where I make my living.
I drink my coffee, smoke my cigarette, solve my problems and keep living life like anyone else.
Anjos do Acaso has always been the place where I put thoughts that don’t fit into my normal routine.
I see that each person finds and searches for something different in these songs and lyrics.
Maybe some questions are there, but even I can’t fully answer them.
There is a lot of stuff written since 95, 96, 97 until 2025, scattered around files and papers.
We are putting things out little by little, whenever I can.
Thank you to everyone who is listening, even in silence.
All I can do is drink my coffee while I smoke, before going to work in real life, and try to answer the emails the way I am answering.
And thank all the people who send those emails.

Common life. Family. Common relationships. Life. Routine. Real problems. Bills to pay.
A digital world crazier than my own life can explain.
Nothing is too simple, but I can’t stop either.
I just think the reality I observe is too complex to fit inside a lyric, a song or a slogan.

Anjos do Acaso

Às vezes eu fico sem entender.
Olho os números de pessoas de vários países chegando até posts simples, mandando e-mails, perguntando mais coisas, outras redes, mais informações…
E sinceramente, muitas vezes eu também não sei exatamente o que responder.
Nós estamos só no YouTube. Não usamos Instagram, TikTok e outras redes. Talvez porque essas redes me cansam e eu realmente não uso.
Não sou músico profissional.
Não sou filósofo acadêmico.
Eu sou talvez só um cara comum demais.
Não sou alguém tentando ensinar alguma coisa.
Eu trabalho todos os dias no meu trabalho real, de onde tiro meu sustento. Tomo meu café, fumo meu cigarro, resolvo meus problemas e sigo a vida como qualquer pessoa.
Anjos do Acaso sempre foi o lugar onde coloco pensamentos que não entram na minha rotina comum.
Eu percebo que cada pessoa encontra e busca alguma coisa diferente nessas músicas e nessas letras.
Talvez algumas perguntas estejam lá, mas nem eu consiga responder completamente.
Existe muita coisa escrita desde 95, 96, 97 até 2025, espalhada em arquivos, papéis e lembranças.
Vamos colocando aos poucos, quando posso.
Obrigado a todos que estão ouvindo, mesmo em silêncio.
Eu só posso tomar meu café enquanto fumo antes de ir trabalhar na vida real, tentar responder os e-mails como estou conseguindo responder e agradecer essa galera que manda mensagens.
Segunda-feira, 1º de junho, aniversário do Everton.
Vida comum. Família. Relações comuns. Rotina. Problemas reais. Contas a pagar.
Um mundo digital mais louco do que minha própria vida consegue explicar.
Nada é simples demais, mas também não posso parar.
Só acho que a realidade que eu observo é complexa demais para caber em uma letra, em uma música ou em um slogan.

Caramba… esquecemos de agradecer ao pessoal do Whiplash que noticiou em janeiro a retomada de algo que começamos lá nos anos 90, quando ainda eram só perguntas e mais perguntas sobre por qual motivo escrevemos.

Então fica aqui nosso obrigado ao Whiplash pelo aviso de que ainda existimos como um conceito de pensamento livre, fazendo como dá pra fazer, do jeito desorganizado, quase por acaso, vocês são anjos da galera que não tem voz num perper view que virou o mundo moderno.
Seguimos sem saber exatamente por que escrevemos, mas ainda existem amontoados de pensamentos espalhados em pastas, gavetas, disquetes, HDs antigos, cadernos esquecidos pelos cantos da casa, pra colocar aqui no canal por algum bom tempo quem sabe enquanto.
Como isso sempre foi mais hobby do que profissão, trabalhamos com outras coisas pra sobreviver. É tipo um padeiro de Andorra que de vez em quando brinca de bola em estádio lotado com profissionais.
No nosso caso, ainda somos o cliente sem muita grana observando o padeiro de Andorra… e curtindo calado.

Damn… we forgot to thank the guys from Whiplash for posting about our return back in January, bringing back something we started in the 90s, when it was still just questions and more questions about why we even write in the first place.
So here’s our thanks to Whiplash for reminding people that we still exist somehow, as a concept of free thought, doing things however we can, in a messy way, almost by accident. You guys are angels for the people with no voice in this pay-per-view that modern life turned into.
We still don’t really know why we write, but there are still piles of thoughts scattered around in folders, drawers, floppy disks, old hard drives, notebooks forgotten around the house… enough stuff to keep posting here on the channel for a pretty long while, maybe.
Since this was always more of a hobby than a profession, we work other jobs to survive. It’s kinda like a baker from Andorra who sometimes gets to play football in packed stadiums with professionals.
In our case, we’re still the broke customer watching the baker from Andorra… and quietly enjoying it.

A composição foi inscrita no concurso literário sem nenhuma expectativa real de ser escolhida.
É legal ver uma música criada dentro do silêncio do Anjos do Acaso aparecer com roupinha diferente e agora também andar como poesia, agradecemos.

Anjos do Acaso

Anjos do Acaso is a Brazilian philosophical, existential and alternative rock band created by brothers Paulo Ernanne de Andrade and Everton de Andrade.

These songs are made for people who feel disconnected, deceived, displaced or dissatisfied with a world that often feels shallow, artificial and incomplete.

The band does not follow institutional religion, ideology, institutionalized science or closed systems of thought. The lyrics observe all of these from the outside: faith, politics, technology, memory, consciousness, media, language and the feeling that something essential is missing behind reality.

Instead of offering answers, the songs ask:

what are we failing to ask?
what remains when everything feels false?
what exists in the gap between one word and another?

The band has been writing songs since 1995. Between 2007 and 2022 there were no recordings, but the writing never stopped. In 2025, Anjos do Acaso returned with the album "Three Versions", released in Portuguese and English.

From what we can see, these people are scattered all over the world.

Our metrics show listeners in Brazil, Paraguay, Belarus, India, Japan, Portugal, Canada and many other places.

Maybe they are people who feel disconnected, deceived, displaced or unable to accept a world that seems too shallow and artificial.

Maybe they are looking for something they cannot name yet.

We do not write songs to provide answers.

We write for those who still believe there is something hidden between one word and another.

People are listening to the English versions of our songs in Brazil, Paraguay, Portugal, Belarus, the United States, Canada, Japan, India, Bangladesh, Thailand, Algeria, Saudi Arabia, Jamaica, Germany, Bosnia and Herzegovina and many other places.

Different countries. Different languages. The same questions.

Maybe these songs are finding people who feel disconnected, displaced, deceived by shallow answers and uncomfortable with a world that often feels artificial.
