Abosstress is a Houston Native whose sounds are influenced by her hometown legends such as DJ Screw, Bun B, Pimp C, Big MOE, Fat Pat, Hawk and many others. Growing up across the street from the original Screwed Up Records (home of the late DJ Screw), exposed Abosstress to the real grit and hustle of the music industry and shaped her love for Houston’s South Side music. Pairing her own eclectic sound with what we’re already familiar with Abosstress has created a lane for herself and a new sound for the culture.
