Sometimes the biggest changes in life start with one simple question.

Last week, Lexi had a week off before starting her new job, and instead of sitting at home like we normally would, we decided to take a trip to New Jersey to spend time with family. No crazy vacation plans. No big tourist attractions. Just real life, real conversations, and time together.

During the trip, we had a conversation that honestly changed the way we’ve been looking at life. We spend so much time waiting for the “right time” to do things that we forget time itself is moving.

This vlog is about family, getting older, making memories, and realizing that maybe the only thing stopping us from truly living… is us.

The last couple months have been a lot.

Between getting our benefits sorted, Lexi stepping into something new (closer to home and better for us), and dealing with some health stuff on my end… life just kept moving.

And as much as I’ve been wanting to get back to creating and working at the level I was before… I realized something.

Not everything is about the grind.

Sometimes you have to slow down, reset, and take care of the things that actually matter… your health, your peace, your people.

We grabbed some food, did a little shopping, and just laughed. No pressure, no rush… just us being present.

Took this picture to remember that moment.

Because at the end of the day, this is why we’re building in the first place.
