After encountering this fella a few times and watching my mates tag them im happy to have smacked this awesome fish!
It wouldnt have been without the help of ‪@ImmersionFiji‬ dropping me on solid ground.
You’ll always remember and cherish a first species and this was an experience that makes me love spearfishing even more than I do.
A quick reef mission to get wet resulted in two smacked mackies even though its not the traditional time of year for them.
