ALLAHU AKBAR, ALLAHU AKBAR, LA ILAHA ILLALLAHU WALLAHU AKBAR, ALLAHU AKBAR WA LILLAHIL HAMD

Former Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir and senior Pakistan Peoples Party leader, Sardar Tanveer Ilyas Khan, offered Eid-ul-Adha prayers at the Central Eidgah in his native village of Bangoin.

On this blessed occasion, he offered special prayers for the freedom of Kashmir and Palestine, as well as for Pakistan’s progress, prosperity, stability, and lasting peace.

Following the Eid prayers, Sardar Tanveer Ilyas Khan warmly interacted with members of the public and exchanged Eid greetings with them individually. He later offered Qurbani in accordance with the Sunnah of Prophet Ibrahim (AS), reaffirming the values of faith, sacrifice, and devotion that define the spirit of Eid-ul-Adha.

May Allah accept our prayers, sacrifices, and acts of worship, and bless the Muslim Ummah with peace, unity, and prosperity.

On the joyous occasion of Eid-ul-Adha, I extend my heartfelt congratulations to Muslims around the world, especially the people of Pakistan and Kashmir.

This day is a renewal of the spirit of sacrifice, devotion, love, and tolerance for all Muslims. It commemorates the unparalleled sacrifice of Prophet Ibrahim (Abraham, peace be upon him) and Prophet Ismail (Ishmael, peace be upon him), and teaches us that we should always be prepared to sacrifice our lives and wealth in pursuit of the pleasure and approval of Almighty Allah.

On this sacred day, I pay tribute to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the security and integrity of Pakistan and for the Kashmir freedom movement. I also appeal to the Muslim Ummah to remember our Kashmiri and Palestinian brothers and sisters in their Eid prayers, and pray that Allah the Almighty grants them success and relief in recognition of their sacrifices.

I pray to Allah the Almighty that this Eid-ul-Adha brings goodness, blessings, and mercy to the entire Muslim Ummah, and grants us the ability to truly understand and practice its spirit in our lives. Ameen.
